BUILDING DESIGN TEAM
The Building Design Team is responsible for the design and construction of the Sustainable Mobile Research Testbed (SMRT) Project which will ultimately integrate each of Sustaingineering subteams' core technologies. By materializing this concept, our team will prove this venture will address three critical areas affecting our communities: access to affordable housing, renewable energy, and clean water. We are working towards constructing the SMRT Project to test the integration and function of our core technologies!
THIS YEAR’S GOALS
Complete construction of wall and roof framing and insulation of subfloor of SMRT Project
Document project progress with detailed construction logs and as-built drawings
Establish further details regarding integration of Mechanical, Electrical, Water Systems projects
